이번에는 Alcohol dependent/co-dependent에 대해 공부해 봅시다.

 

*Dependent: Mutual give and take.

 

*Co-dependent: One person takes benefit more.

 

NO harm = dependent/co-dependent

ex) wife buying alchol for her husband

 

Dangerous/Harmful =manupulated (When abuser get other people to buy alcohol for them = "ilegally")

ex) kid buying alcohol for their parents

 

What to do?

>> Set the limits and enforce

 

*Confrontation ?

>> tell the truth and go deep through causes and reasons for the issue.

Overdose vs Withdraw

 

Upper: caffiene, cocaine, PCP/LSD, methaphetamines, adderall

> S&S: Euphoria, tachycardia restlessness, irritibility, diarhhea, and reflex 3+

 

Downer: Heroine, alcohol, marijuana

> S&S: Lethargic, Resp depression, bradycardia, reflex 2-

 

*Overdose 

- Upper : More upper

- Downer: More downer

 

*Withdraw

- Upper: more downer

- Downer: more upper
