이번에는 Anxiety Stage 에 대해 공부해 봅시다.
MILD = everyday anxiety
- Nail Biting, tapping, foot-jitters
MODERATE = situational
- GI upset, headache, shaky voice
- limited problem solving and decreased attentiveness.
- heightened perceptual field and is aware of the anxiety.
- narrowed perceptual field and able to discuss past coping mechanisms.
SEVERE = feeling of doom
- Dizziness, headache, nausea, sleeplessness, hyperventilation
- the inability to problem solve and has a sense of impending doom.
PANIC = unstable and not in touch with reality
- Pacing, yelling, running, hallucinations
Anxiety vs Fear
- Anxiety is secondary to a psychological stressor, whereas fear is secondary to a physical or psychological stressor.
- Fear is secondary to an identifiable source, whereas anxiety is secondary to an unidentifiable source.
- Anxiety is diffuse and vague, whereas fear is more specific and definable.
