- Fall risk measures

•  causes vertigo or the feeling that one is spinning, the patient is at an increased risk for falls

- Tinnitus

- Vertigo

- Hearing loss

 

Rule #3 Fluid restriction

Meniere's disease is characterized by excessive endolymphatic fluid. This causes three main features of vertigo, tinnitus, and sensorineural hearing loss. Nursing care aims to provide education that should focus on diet medication (low salt, limiting caffeine and alcohol)
